Bukit Jambul Country Club

A proprietary club owned by Island Golf Properties Berhad, the Bukit Jambul Country Club (BJCC) was incorporated in 1984. What was once a 130-acre hilly rugged and rocky jungle, BJCC has established itself as one of Malaysia's top golf clubs. Since its opening in 1984, numerous extensions and renovations have enabled BJCC to be the preferred golfing avenue, such as being the host of the 31st Malaysian Open in 1992 which was won by Vijay Singh.

Glenmarie Golf & Country Club

Established in 1993, Glenmarie Golf & Country Club has made gigantic strides to become one of the top golf clubs in Malaysia. Glenmarie hosted its first - ever international golf tournament, the Kosaido Malaysian Ladies' Open in 1997, 1998 and 1999  which the auspicious event  featured  world - class field of  professional lady golfers. 

Glenmarie has two 18-hole golf courses which are both contrasting in style and landscapes .The 6,432 metre Garden Course lives up to its name with a rich variety of flora and fauna and aesthetic lakes which meand its way through a tropical garden with many types of palm trees and flowering shrubs. If eagles and birdies do not creep up on the scoreboard, the plethora of birds to be found on the Garden are amazing. Watch out for the swans, especially the black and white swimming on the lake.

Since its opening in 1986, Saujana Golf & Country Club (Saujana) has established itself as Malaysia's No. 1 golf club. Carved out of a former palm and rubber plantation and set among rolling hills and large tranquil lakes, Saujana has two internationally famous golf facilities - the Palm Course and the Bunga Raya Course - both designed by Ronald Fream.

Undoubtedly, Kota Permai is the jewel in the township's crown and was designed to be very much a part of the local community, a truly family club.

In just four years, Kota Permai Golf & Country Club was voted Malaysia's Number One Golf Course by leading magazine, Golf Malaysia in its 2001/2002 readers' poll. In addition, the club was also voted the Most Memorable Golf Course and bestowed the Most Beautiful Hole award for our par four second hole. History repeats itself when Kota Permai returned to the pinnacle amongst Malaysian golf courses for being voted again as the Country's Best Golf Course along with the Most Memorable Golf Course and Most Scenic Hole award (Hole No.2) at the recent Golf Malaysia's readers' poll 2005/2006.

Since its first tee-off in 1993, BKGCR has grown tremendously in its popularity amongst the most serious as well as recreational golfers, with its membership reaching almost 800.

The Tropicana Golf & Country Resort's 27-hole championship golf course is known to be among the best in the country, with many golf enthusiasts regularly making this a key stop of their golfing itinerary.
At the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, there is a game of golf to be enjoyed no matter day or night. There are two challenging dream courses complete with rolling slopes and sweeping valleys, each designed to the United States Golfers Association specifications, which offer golfing pleasure to champion and amateur golfers alike. The nine-hole East Course and the 18-hole West Course feature strategically located sand and water hazards amidst picturesque holes on the rolling green.

Tropicana Golf & Country Resort set out to build a world-class golf course that will be the enjoyment of both avid and amateur golfers. The services of Mr Graham Marsh of the renowned Australian team, Marsh-Watson Pty Ltd, with a string of five-star rated projects in Australia under their belt such as The Vines in Perth and Robina Woods on the Gold Coast, were engaged to design and construct Tropicana’s golf course.

Build upon the natural terrain of a former rubber plantation and at a cost of over RM24 million (or RM1.3 million a hole), the East Course was first opened to great expectations in 1993. Needless to say, the golf course which was said to have been “designed to bring out the best in any player” has met and exceeded these expectations. Many golf veterans have commented that it is indeed a pleasure to play at the Tropicana Golf Course and that it has a special appeal to high handicappers and professionals alike.

   
         9.Seri Selangor Golf Club

Seri Selangor Golf Club

As the first bona fide public golf course in the country, Kelab Golf Seri Selangor paves the way for the Royal and Ancient game to be enjoyed from every walks of life. In fact, the club's official launching in 1998 heralded a new era of golf in the country.

Ross Watson's designed Seri Selangor Golf Club measuring 6374 metre par 72 could be one of his outstanding creation. Commissioned in 1998, the Golf course features some of the hazards that golfers love to hate. It is lined with tall trees, ample supply ponds, lakes or mandering stream and together with undulating fairways,golfing here can be nightmarish. The recent renovaton of all the greens resulted in a daily playing speed of not less than 9' on the stimpmeter and hellish 11'-12' for competitions. The golf course justified the vision of the State Government of Selangor to develop the game of golf accessible and affordable to the public.

Seri Selangor has become the venue for golfers of all levels and often been grace by royalties and dignitaries. Encouraged by the good response and recognizing and sun sensitive golfers, night golfing was introduced in April 2001. Currently enjoying close to 6000 rounds a month or 200 a day, it has become the busiest golf course in the Klang Valley.

Entering 2006, Seri Selangor Golf Club will begin a new era in golfing activities. PGA Championship will be featured as the premier event to be held at the Club. The new driving range has completed and been service to all patrons. The new Teen Program will commence and the PGA Academy of Golf has began its first semester for locals as well as foreigner.

   
         10.Templer Park Country Club

Templer Park Country Club

TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB is designed by the famous Japanese Professional Golfer Jumbo Ozaki in association with Kentaro Sato a well known golf course architect. Set up in 1990 and open for play the same year, TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB have since hosted all major amateur tournaments in the country.

In 1995 TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB was given the privilege to host its first major professional tournament i.e. The Benson & Hedges Malaysian Open. Following the success of this tournament, TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB was given the opportunity to host the tournament again in 1996.

TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB was selected to host The Benson & Hedges Malaysian Open 2000 from February10th -13th 2000. This tournament was jointly sanctioned by the PGA European Tour and the PGA Asian Tour. Among the star players who played in this tournament were Bernhard Langer, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington and Andrew Coltart.

TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB is ideally located in the Templer Park recreational park area which is just a 15 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur city. Set a midst the recreation park and the golf course is the famous limestone hill called 'Bukit Takun.' The golf course is also surrounded on one side with virgin forest. TEMPLER PARK COUNTRY CLUB is a very scenic and challenging golf course with many holes featuring long carry across the lakes.

One of the most talked about clubs in the Klang Valley, our signature golf course is sprawled over 165-acre site amidst lush tropical greenery and scenic views. This is one word that aptly describes the Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort ( BJGCR ) an elite address, just outside of Kuala Lumpur. Easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur - Seremban and Kesas Highway, it is just 15 minutes drive from the City Centre and 30 minutes to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The clubhouse is a second home for most of its members. It houses many sporting facilities and is great for all in the family. There is a general air of calmness at the BJGCR. The warmth is immediate as you step into the lobby area. The gentle breeze that blows from the green field caresses your skin as you sip your morning coffee at the "open-air" golfer's lounge.          2. Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam 

Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam (KGPA)

Nestled in the green belt of Damansara and Bukit Kiara, Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam (KGPA) graced by natural beauty and rolling terrain, provides the perfect challenge to players of all abilities.

Established in 1989, KGPA is a 27-hole course. The championship course (Hill and Lake) is a classic par 72 golf course measuring 8,887 meters with landscapes lush fairways culminating in manicured verdant greens. The third Nine (Forest), measuring 2,446 meters, caters for intermediate and seniors golfers. The course is equally challenging and many regretted underestimating it.

The majestic Roman-architecture Clubhouse features a wide range of amenities including a banquet which can cater for up to 400 persons.

             Club  

Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC)

The Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) is a proprietary club strategically located in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. KLGCC is a 150,000 sq ft clubhouse equipped with banqueting, F&B, and a host of sports & recreational facilities such as swimming pool, tennis courts, squash court, gym, bowling alley, billiard room, a golf academy, 3-tier driving range, karaoke lounge and a 36 hole championship golf course (East & West Course). In February 2007, KLGCC embarked on an extensive upgrade of the golf course which is expected to be completed in May 2009.

Eddie Adams was recently in Kuala Lumpur to inspect the KLGCC, which will be hosting the Malaysian Open in March next year. He uses all the knowledge and skills he developed at the House of Golf to assess golf courses and ranks the Kuala Lumpur layout highly. In the eyes of Eddie Adams, the KLGCC is the fifth best golf course in the world.  Adams has the credentials to make such a statement having been the youngest head greenkeeper in the history of the Old Course of St. Andrews Links and is currently the Greenkeeping Consultant for the European Tour.

   
         4. Royal Selangor Golf Club

Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC)

Established in 1893, The Royal Selangor Golf Club is the founding ground of golf and the premier golf club of Malaysia.  The RSGC, as it is popularly known, has a long and illustrious history that is associated with the birth and dawn of golf in the region. It has played a most prominent role in the evolution of the game in the country and in making it a major recreational and sporting event here. Having played host to many international golf tournaments, a hallmark of quality and par excellence is synonymous with this august Club.

The golf courses of The RSGC comprise two 18 holes and a short 9 holes.  Home to the inaugural Malaysian Open, the historic Old Course offers a championship layout and has been the venue for many international tournaments.  While the 45 holes are easily accessible on foot, each hole offers a different playing experience and challenge to test one's skill.   Three different sets of tees are available for the men and two for the ladies, based on playing ability.

Originally laid out in 1921 and a total rebuild following the ravages of World War II, the courses after having undergone renovation and reconstruction over the years, have till today retained most of its unique characteristics and charm of the parkland environment, to the delight of our members and guests from near and afar.  The recent reconstruction and remodelling undertaken in 2007 will surely pitch up the challenges with many tactical offerings and surprises.
